How do I get a quote?

How quickly are quotes turned around?
In most cases, it takes about 60 seconds to a few minutes a get a bindable quote back. In some cases, it could take a few hours, depending on the class of business.
Are there any annual commitments to use xagent?
Join the xagent community and use the Universal Submission APPTM whenever you want, and stop using it whenever you want — all without any volume commitment.
How are commissions paid?
Commissions are paid out from xagent to you, the agent, after premiums are paid to the carrier by the insured. The faster the insured pays the premium, the faster you get paid your commission. Generally, commissions are paid once a month, following the month the carrier receives their premium. In some cases, if a premium is paid late in the month, you might not get your commission check for 2 months after the premium is paid.
Who collects the premiums from the insured?
With admitted carriers, the accounts will be direct billed by the carrier to the insured. For some Surplus Lines carriers billing will be agency billed.
How can we earn up to 50% more commission with xagent?
Just by you being you! The commission xagent provides agents is 50% more than what you would receive with a typical wholesale agency.
What is my Commission?
We will pay you 15% on BOPs, and *10% for Workers Comp (WC) policies. *The commission for WC is on a sliding scale, depending on the premium. For premiums <$35k, the commission is 10%. For premiums $35k - $50k, it is 8%; and, for premiums >$50k, the commission is 6.5%.
In *California, the WC commissions are slightly different as follows: WC commission starts at 8% for premiums <$35k, then for accounts $35k -$50 the commission is 6%. For any account over $50k, the WC commission is 5.5%.

We are licensed in all 50 states and offer all eligible classes of business with participating carriers in all these states
How does xagent handle fees I charge a client?
Any fees you charge your client would be handled outside xagent and directly with your customer. Just make sure you are familiar with any applicable laws regarding fees in your state.
Do you offer a payment plan?
Most admitted markets will offer payment plans, whereas many Surplus Lines carriers will require payment in one lump sum.
What happens to my client’s information after it’s input into xagent?
You can get it right back in an application we generate for you. You can also go back and access your application any time. You will own any account you input into xagent and you can access it or modify it as needed. The data is always available, in a secure platform, for whenever you need to access it.
How quickly can I start using xagent?
You can sign up and start using xagent the same day! Click here to sign up to be a Beta user. You can also contact us by phone or email if you have any questions. The most important thing to do is set up an account online and within 24 hours you will be accepted as a Beta user.
What carriers does xagent use?
xagent a nationally rated A+ carrier, with more to come soon.
How do I bind a submission?
All you have to do to bind a submission is click the “Bind” button on the quote page in xagent. You will then receive your policy with 48 hours.
How do I process policy change requests and endorsement requests?
At the moment, all you do is send us an email with the details of the request, and we will process it for you.
How are claims processed?
For claims, all you need to do is send us an email, and we’ll take it from there.
Does xagent give me a direct appointment with the carrier?
xagent will hold the direct appointment with the carriers, with you the agent, using xagent to access the carriers.
What are my system requirements to use xagent?
You will need OS: Windows 7 or newer, Mac OS X
Compatible browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer version 8 or newer, MS Edge, or Safari.
Hint: If you are having issues, first check in the Internet Options or Privacy settings of the browser, and make sure that the system “allows” or “accepts” Session Cookies from third parties.
